Delivery
We sell all of our products online for delivery by courier to the UK Mainland (excluding the highlands of Scotland) on Fridays between 9am and 6pm. Delivery is free for orders over £75, costs £5 for orders between £50 – £75 and £7.50 for orders under £50.
Unfortunately, we are currently unable to offer a delivery service to the Highlands and Islands of the UK. This is because courier companies cannot guarantee a 24 hour delivery service to the Highlands and Islands and, due to the perishable nature of the goods, we can’t risk our packages taking any longer. Sorry!
Please place your order by 5pm Wednesday for our Friday delivery. All deliveries need to be signed for unless you state otherwise in the compulsory delivery instructions field. These delivery instructions can override the need for signature as they instruct the driver to leave the parcel safely at its destination (e.g. ‘in the garage’ or ‘in the porch’). We request these alternative delivery instructions due to the perishable nature of the goods being delivered: we don’t want the driver to take the parcel away for delivery at a later date. If the parcel has to be left without a signature it is left at your own risk.
Payment
We can only process an order after receiving payment. We accept online payments by Maestro, Visa, Electron, Solo, Mastercard and Delta and use Paypal to guarantee safe and secure payments. Paypal’s system of data encryption and fraud detection tools ensures that all your information remains completely confidential.
Complaints
If your goods are damaged during delivery to you then please let us know within 24 hours of receiving them and we will try to resolve it with the courier company. If you are able to take photos of the damaged parcel please do and email them to info@thehamandcheeseco.com
We are not liable for any consequential losses from a delay in delivery of the goods by the courier company.
